Daryle Conquering Bear Crow - 2014 Youth Mentor of the Year

Daryle Conquering Bear Crow, member of the National Resource Center for Tribes National Advisory Council, received a Youth Mentor award during the 2014 Colorado Convening on Children, Youth and Families. The purpose of the Convening was for D&N Best Practice Courts (BPC) and Family Treatment Courts (FTDC) to come to gether to set goals and share practices.

Daryle has been an active member of the NRC4Tribes National Advisory Council since 2010, speaking on many panels and keynote presentations on a topic near to his heart, "Leave No Indian Child Behind!" Daryle is a young adult who spent many several years in the foster Colorado foster care system. He is a member of the Oglala Lakota Nation.
